Upcoming General Meeting Information

May 12th: UC Master Gardener, Lynn Coffman will be presenting Firescaping – strategies for creating a landscape that reduces the risk of wildfire damage and enhances the overall resilience of the landscape to fire. We will also be recognizing our outgoing officers, installation of new officers and enjoying a luncheon.

June 10th: Installation of Officers and End-of-the Year Luncheon.

OctoberMeeting - October 13, 2026

"Gottlieb Native Garden"

Susan Gottlieb, creator of the Gottlieb Native Garden in Los Angeles, and Scott Logan, the garden's naturalist, will provide a fascinating look at the remarkaable history of this nationally recognized landscape. Together they will explore how native plants create a thriving ecosystem, revealing the intricate relationships between flora, birds, pollinators and wildlife, and the powerfl lessons this garden offers about biodiversity resilience and our connection to nature.

September Meeting - September 8, 2026

"Getting Your Garden Ready for Fall"

We kicked of our new year with a very informative program presented by UC Master Gardeners Linda Powell and Laura Simpson! Fall is the time to prune and plant to refresh your garden. They also talked about the maintenance you need to do. And they provided our members with links to gardening tips to keep their gardens thriving year round!

Additionally, our Publicity Chair, Evelyn Gonzalez, presented our 2026-2027 yearbook and guided the members where they can quickly find answers to most questions they may have about our club....our calendar, upcoming programs and events, our member directory, and so much more! Our yearbook is a virtual treasure-trove of information for our members!

The 36th Annual NGC Standard Flower Show and Plant Sale
